Vishal’s Indian at food at east Gosford was seriously delicious! I don’t handle spicy well so we ordered everything mild and you could taste the individual ingredients of each dish!
The sharing plate entree of a samosa pastry was flaky and melted on my tongue the lamb filling was Devine! The chicken tikka was beautifully cooked and seasoned along with the lamb Seekh kebab. The onion pakora was also perfectly cooked and seasoned!
For mains we ordered garlic and cheese naan’s.. both with delicious flaky pastry …plus Dahl, mango chicken, Malai Kofta and Lamb Saag. All so delicious!
The food sizes were generous and we took most of it home so we will both be enjoying it for another meal or 2.
The service was great and Preet could not have been more helpful and friendly… highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!!!

Seems to be the only Indian restaurant on the Central Coast, based in East Gosford. Decent food and attentive staff. Apparently they have recently moved to 26 Adelaide Street, East Gosford. Best wishes. THIS IS AN UPDATE: Since Vishal's moved, I recently went in to check out the establishment and order takeaway food. OH MY..the new place is great, bright enough to have your wedding there! As usual, they have kept their high standards of cooking Indian cuisine, and I enjoyed my delicious takeaway dinner. 😋
We ordered two curry for take out which wasn’t what we asked for we want replacement to restaurant still only got one curry we didn’t not get fresh curry they only added spicy to old one which wasn’t satisfied as well. Not satisfied with service wast of money waste of time, this thing made me and my upset for not being able enjoy the food, we are happy to pay the service but disappointed soo much that we will not recommend anyone to take their food or service any time!! The restaurant service is so pathetic that they don’t even care what they have to do for their customers!!
I've had take away from here a couple of times when they were in the previous location, and finally I tried dining in the restaurant.
I'm not sure how anyone could give this place a bad review, it was probably one of the best overall experiences I've had on the coast.
The restaurant was clean, and the new location has a lot more space.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and the menu has a lot to choose from.
We decided to get something different from our usual butter chicken, so we got lamb rogan Josh, malai kofta, garlic naan and some mixed pickle.
The flavours were incredible, and the lamb was tender and fell apart easily.
The kofta balls were great too, both curry sauces were rich and thick.
The naan was thin but tasty, not thick and bready like some other places.
Overall it was a great experience, I'll definitely be back very soon.

I had a delightful dining experience at Vishal's Indian restaurant. The butter chicken was truly exceptional, complemented by a wonderful ambiance. The staff, particularly Lachlan, provided outstanding service, making it a definite must-visit again in the future!

Loved it all and couldn't stop talking about it.
Just changed to 4 starts from 5-
Unfortunately, in my second visit I was so disappointed. I won't get too much in to details, but let's just sum it up by don't go in busy days or holidays. It's too load, crowded, people pick up their food in the restaurant and queuing in the middle of the place in front of the tables, food was slow due to the many orders, and twice we asked for something the never came. I'll go there again for sure, but I'll choose better, quieter days next visit.
